A couple is trying to reach freedom out of besieged town. On their way out stands barricaded with unfriendly soldiers.

Anni ’90. Nella ex Jugoslavia imperversa la guerra. Moglie e marito cercano di fuggire dalla loro città assediata, ma un’improvvisa barricata blocca la strada. Nel tentativo di oltrepassarla, la coppia si inventa una scusa da raccontare alle guardie: la loro storia crolla rapidamente. Poco prima di essere fucilati dai soldati, lui si gira e pronuncia la parola “Lemon”: un nome che può significare la strada verso la libertà.
